Simfoni Keroncong Nusantara | Concert Information

Melodious and soulful, keroncong is a music genre unique to the Malay Archipelago, having developed from its folk roots into a celebrated cultural heritage. Simfoni Keroncong Nusantara celebrates the various styles and colours of keroncong, from its original sound in its birthplace, Jakarta, to its iterations in the rest of the archipelago.

Performed by Orkestra Melayu Singapura, this blockbuster show features guest performers Emila Contessa, Dato Yusni Hamid, Eddy Ali, Suryana Norddin, Jamilah Abu Bakar and Liliek Jasqee with Orkes Keroncong Duta Jakarta. Be entertained and entranced by classic favourites like Jali-Jali, Bengawan Solo, Sayang Di Sayang as well as interpretations of pop favourites that have been given the unique keroncong touch.
