Retrospective 1957 - 2023 | Exhibition Introduction

As part of Singapore Art Week 2023, Straits Gallery and Koeh Sia Yong Art Museum are proud to bring to you our upcoming exhibition Retrospective 1957 - 2023.

Retrospective 1957 - 2023 highlights some of Koeh Sia Yong's best works in his six-decade-long career. As a second-generation artist, his works align with the Nanyang style pioneered by first-generation artists by combining Western painting techniques taught by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with Singaporean subjects.
