ANNOUNCEMENT: AN EVENING WITH JOSÉ CARRERAS – SHOW POSTPONEMENT

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to announce that the concert "An Evening With José Carreras" scheduled for 11 November 2022 (Friday) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will be postponed until further notice of a new date.

For those who have purchased tickets, you may choose to,

Option A: Carry forward your existing tickets

Existing tickets will be valid for the new show and no further action is required from you for now. Please keep a look out for more details via www.unusual.com.sg or www.sistic.com.sg.

Option B: Request for a full refund

Ticket holders who are uncertain of their schedule may request for a full refund, as per the value stated on your ticket. SISTIC would be contacting all ticket holders via email which will include a refund request form. The refund period would be from 15 October 2022 to 31 October 2022.

One of the greatest tenors of all times, José Carreras returns for a one night only concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

"An Evening with José Carreras" celebrates and salutes the remarkable career of an opera legend. The concert is part of José Carreras' Asia tour and promises a memorable evening serenaded by one of the most exceptional voices of our time.

The tenor will be joined by our local soprano, Teng Xiang Ting, under the baton of Maestro David Giménez and accompanied by The Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert repertoire will include arias from Francesco P. Tosti, Salvatore Cardillo and Alessandro Derevitsky.

José Carreras professional operatic singing span almost 50 years and his wide repertoire include over 60 operas and more than 600 titles of the most diverse styles, ranging from the baroque to contemporary music, with the most outstanding being Andrea Chenier, La Bohème, Tosca, Werther, Don Carlo, Carmen, La Forza del Destino, I Pagliacci, L'Elisir d'Amore and Un Ballo in Maschera.

He has sold millions of records across the classical and popular music genres. Among the numerous national and international prizes and distinctions bestowed upon José Carreras are the Grand Prix du Disque from the Academy of Paris; the Luigi Illica Prize; a Grammy Award; the Sir Lawrence Olivier Award and the Classical Brit Award and many more.
