There’s an ox on the roof! Milhaud’s rollicking score was such a hit that the iconic night club opened in Paris soon after its premiere, taking “Le Bœuf sur le Toit” as its name. Renowned French maestro Ludovic Morlot leads this jovial programme starring Jin Ta (SSO Principal Flute, Stephen Riady Chair) and Gulnara Mashurova (SSO Principal Harp) in Mozart’s sublime union of flute and harp, closing with Schumann’s jubilant tribute to spring.
