Concert Introduction

After two postponements over the past 2 years due to the evolving COVID-19 restrictions, the Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO) is finally presenting a live performance featuring our Youth and Children’s Chorus. You will find an interesting experience at our concert– it is a mix-mode concert with both recorded video playback of our Children’s Chorus singing, and having them live on stage; acting and dramatising to the songs that are playing. Live singing can still be expected, as our Youth Chorus will sing a mix of solos, duets and chorus songs.

To say that the past year has been a challenge would be a tremendous understatement; time after time we were tested, but we stand tall together, as we lift our hearts in song. With a range of specially chosen repertoire in the theme of “hope”, the concert aims to encourage and instill a sense of optimism through these tough times.

Advisory:

• recovery from a COVID-19 infection within the last 180 days

All patrons are required to do SafeEntry check-in at the venue via the TraceTogether app (version 2.11 and above) or token only. Other modes of SafeEntry check-in will not be accepted.
