Enjoying a stunning position between the mountains on one side and the Borromeo Gulf on the other, this superbly renovated hotel is set in its own sub-tropical gardens, close to the centre of Baveno. The major resort town of Stresa, with its lively lanes filled with restaurants, bars and shops, is approximately 2.5 km away. This air-conditioned hotel comprises 113 rooms. Facilities at the hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, lift access, TV lounge, bar and a restaurant. In addition, there are conference facilities available and a car park. The standard single and double en suite rooms enjoy mountain views and include wooden floors and mosaic work in the bathrooms or showers. Balconies are available in some of the rooms. All are equipped with air-conditioning (mid-June to mid-September), central heating, safe, minibar, satellite/cable TV and 2 direct dial telephones. For an additional fee, guests may make use of WLAN Internet access and room and laundry services. Superior double rooms are large and bright and also enjoy mountain views. Their woodwork and precious fabrics create an elegant atmosphere, which makes for a very pleasant stay. An indoor heated swimming pool, solarium, Turkish bath and gym are available at the establishment's sister hotel, which is accessible via an indoor art gallery. From Milan: take highway A8 towards Laghi and continue to the A26 in the direction of Gravellona Toce, exit at Baveno-Stresa. From Locarno: travel in the direction of Italy then Stresa. From Turin: take highway A4 in the direction of Milan, continue to the A26 travelling towards Gravellona Toce and exit at Baveno-Stresa.
