Nice clean room and bathroom with a comfy bed. Felt very welcomed with the owner Tracy going above and beyond. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided in the room as well as toiletries and towels in the bathroom. She also provided a categorise list of places to eat which was very useful. The guest house is in a great location as it is central to everything and was good value for money. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that the en-suite had a bit of a drains smell to it.

Only thing to note is check in is after four. Nice stay, everything in walking distance

Good for the price

A great location with easy access to Northumbrian Coast and great places to eat in Alnwick. Friendly staff and the room was nice and warm. However, room was dated and not as clean as you would normally expect.

Location fab. Room heating was cold this morning and there was a drainage type smell coming out of the bathroom.

This is no-frills accommodation in the middle of lovely Alnwick and is priced accordingly. It's a quirky old building, just off the main street so all the shops, restaurants etc are a minute or two away. Free car parking is also a couple of minutes away. The room we had was fine if a little cold. Although the radiators were on, it never got toasty warm. We had an early start (up at 6:30am) on one morning and that was definitely a bit chilly as the heating hadn't yet come on. Beds were fine, with some extra blankets in the wardrobe. Not sure what it would be like in the middle of winter though. There's no reception as such, so no-one to ask if you just need an extra towel, milk, etc. Our room had three beds but only came with two mugs (and one teaspoon). Not a big deal, but also not easily rectified at the time. Overall, perfectly adequate accommodation to sleep in for the price we paid.

Parking is in a local car park. Staff were lovely, location is amazing. The shower was epic, I didn't want to get out.

Convenient location close to the places of interest and dining out

The room was clean and comfortable. Free Parking was close by and good access to town centre and restaurants.
