Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa All Inclusive

El hotel es muy grande y necesita un mantenimiento. Me extrañó un poco porque no es la primera vez que voy y siempre había estado en buenas condiciones. Faltaba pintura, los muebles del lobby le faltaba atención y el lobby le está quedando pequeño para la cantidad de gente que se acumula en horas de check Inn/check Out. Me pusieron en una habitación cerca del parque de agua, y la bachata no me dejaba descansar en las tardes. Sin embargo, debo reconocer que luego de mi queja, el personal de servicio al cliente se acercó a mí, ofreciéndome otro tipo de habitación de forma ágil, lo cual fue muy agradable. La calidad de la comida puede mejorar, no ha estado a la altura de los demás Dreams. La playa tenía mucho sargazo y le faltaba limpieza por los tractores para que al menos las personas caminaran en la arena. Soy asidua de visitar los hoteles de la cadena Dreams/Hyatt y en esta ocasión no puedo dar cinco estrellas, pues el hotel le falta atención especial por remodelación en algunas áreas.

Spacious rooms with fantastic cleaning staff that turned the room spotless each day. HUGE resort with many swimming and dining options. The staff is everywhere to help you and they are happy, welcoming, and very hospitable. You will have to wait most nights for a table for dinner. Meals were plentiful and delicious. Drinks were great and there are bars at every corner to order from. The beach did have a lot of sargassum, but the crews were working to remove it constantly. Other resorts down the beach seemed to be in much worse shape with sargassum piled high. The pools were huge and had swim up bars and entertainment poolside for kids (giant hamster ball in the pool, inflatables, crafts) and adults (aerobic, yoga, music, dancers). The nightly entertainment was unique each night with a magic show, circus show, and cover bands. Our family had a fantastic time.

That good

The property was beautiful and very clean. We had a wonderful time at this resort. The water slides and pools are fantastic. The taco truck next to the waterpark was really good, and a great addition to our experience. When we were hungry we just went over and grabbed a few tacos. The staff is Fantastic, very friendly and extremely helpful they could not be better. The property is very kid friendly and all the activities and shows are fun for kids. The main buffet in our opinion had the best food and lots of options, it was really good. My mother and I loved the spa, we had wonderful massages and the spa is really beautiful and relaxing with a pool and hot tub, and sauna. We stayed for six days and we wish we had more time! Loved this resort!

The only way to go here is the preferred club. The amenities they provide are worth it... like you get to eat in the AC in a private area when you enjoy the buffet, you can make reservations at the restaurants (otherwise you wait really long times), you have a personal concierge you can message questions to, etc. That was totally worth the upgrade. The pool area is nice and has quiet areas to enjoy... especially at the preferred pool, because main pool area can get loud. The Cosmic Lanes place was worth doing, game area for kids, and our daughter enjoyed doing that nightly before dinner. The evening entertainment after dinner, starting at 9, in the theater was not world class but it was fun and the staff was so great. Reserve at table at Spice for the tappenyaki grill, because that was the best meal we had. Our room was a bit dirty (like smudges on doors, dirt on drawer handles, etc) but housekeeping was nice and the bed and linens were comfortable. The staff at this hotel is REALLY accommodating and helpful and nice. That was the highlight of the trip, the staff at the hotel were really great. All in all it was a wonderful family vacation and a great place to bring children.

Swim areas

Absolutely the best all-inclusive I had been to. The staff were friendly and helpful. Activities were greats and so much to do onsite. We stayed 7 nights with 3 young kids and we stayed busy. Foods were amazing and Bluewater Grills is must try restaurant. As for the buffet, it is outdoor so it extremely hot to eat out. We had booked preferred club so we never had the problem with the heat since the preferred club dining (breakfast and lunch) is indoors and we had direct access to the buffet. Highly recommended!

One of the best all inclusive I’ve been too !

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Onyx Punta Cana. The entire property was very clean, well maintained, and beautiful. The staff was consistently kind, friendly, and eager to help, and they really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food offered plenty of variety, the pools were excellent, and there were lots of activities and entertainment for both adults and kids, making it a great choice for families. The resort had a relaxing atmosphere while still offering plenty to do. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely come back. Thank you to the entire Dreams Onyx team for making our vacation so enjoyable!
