The hotel had great historical decor. Very beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good value. Location is central to everything you need and tourist spots.

Hotel de Nice is in an excellent location and, for a modest price per room, a fair choice. It's a bit 1960s and funky, but that has its own charm. Staff was highly variable in their interest in assisting us. Although the lift went to the ground floor, no one ever offered it to me for my baggage, so I had to use the stairs from the first floor. Staff told us we could not sit in the lobby and drink wine in the evening. One staffer was eager to help with directions and recommendations. Others seemed inconvenienced by the whole Hotel Thing and Dealing with Guests.

Estupendo EXCELLENT location overlooks a busy square with cafes,small weekend markets & Lots of shops. Don’t buy the hotel breakfast-13euros for a croissant & bread, PROCESSED cheese spread, packaged applesauce, coffee & juice. Very small rooms-typical for Europe. Our room was fine, but the shower was TINY. Staff is friendly & accommodating.

Tea facilities were lacking and also shower stuff, no shampoo or conditioner so take with you.

Love the cuteness of the hotel.
Our room 13 was noisy and the window couldn’t close. By the time we discovered it , we were in pjs. The room was also next to a common space outside and restaurants. The noise didn’t stop till 4am. That’s when we got up for airport.

Unique decor is appealing
Luggage elevator is a minor inconvenience
Carfourre city market 3 minutes walk is a major plus
Staff friendly
This my second stay there and will return if that is the area that I want to be in on my next trip
So positive experience with this property
