This was a nightmare. When we arrived, we were told to leave our bags and taken to another area to complete the check-in. On returning, it appeared that my bag had been opened. When we were taken up to our room (no elevator), there was no AC, only three fans pushing hot heat-wave air around. The beds looked like the sheets had not been changed. We were in a room with three beds, one bed was not made - only had a sheet and blanket thrown on the bare mattress. No pillow. The other two beds had someone else's hair still on the sheets. The listing advertised breakfast was included but when we arrived, we were told the service was cancelled. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were wonderful! There are a lot of stairs and no elevator… made it tough with luggage. Was hard to find at first. But overall a great experience with old world charm!

I think that the hotel it's in a great location but if your room is not in the first floor, you better be ready for a lots of steps. I didn't like that I was charged by Expedia for taxes but I received message that I have to pay taxes again but only cash. Also, not AC.

Very central and convenient

The property itself is wonderful—very clean, in a perfect location, and the room was exceptionally spacious for our family of two adults and two teenagers. We truly enjoyed our stay and found the accommodations comfortable and well-maintained. The only downside was our experience with the staff. While visiting Florence, we met up with family members who briefly accompanied us to our room to drop something off. We were immediately approached by a staff member who informed us that we could not have visitors and could not bring additional bags into the room. The interaction felt unnecessarily abrupt and unwelcoming. We explained that our family members were not staying at the property and were only dropping off belongings for us. We were surprised to be told that we needed permission for someone to enter the room or to bring in additional luggage. As paying guests, we felt the situation could have been handled more professionally and with greater courtesy. We were not causing any disturbance, and this occurred during the middle of the day—not during a party or disruptive gathering. That experience left us feeling uncomfortable, which was unfortunate given how much we otherwise enjoyed the property. Potential guests may want to be aware of these policies in advance. Aside from this issue, the property is fabulous, and the location and accommodations are excellent.

The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast. Staff will answer questions if you ask, easy to communicate with. The location is close to everything. Room is cleaned daily by staff, but floor won’t be sweeped. The area is very safe!

Je ne me souviens pas que dans la description on parlait d’une salle de bain partagée, à l’extérieur de la chambre. Ceci dit, ce fut très bien. Personnel courtois, hébergement bien entretenu. À savoir: pas d’ascenseur et de quand même pas mal de marches à monter. Une fois sur place, tout est bien.

We had an unexpected delay in our travel and arrival and the hotel host was kind enough to allow us to check in at 11:30pm. He was helpful and friendly and we could not have been happier with the check-in process. Thank you!

There is not private bathroom is for everyone
