Beautiful hotel, and the room was wonderful. However, the staff was not helpful at all. We tried to call for room service and were transferred around before eventually being hung up on. We also called for ice and were told there was no ice machine, with no alternative offered. The AC wasn’t cooling the room enough, so we called to ask for a fan, and the staff member was rude and dismissive when telling us they did not have one.
It was disappointing because the hotel itself is beautiful and has so much potential, but the lack of helpful customer service really took away from the experience. For a hotel at this price point, we expected the staff to at least make an effort to help solve basic issues rather than simply tell us no. We likely would not stay again based on the service alone.
