We had a fantastic stay at MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei, especially families.
The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the MRT station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. We loved being able to sightsee in the morning, return to the hotel for an afternoon break with our kids, and head back out refreshed.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with elegant Japanese-inspired aesthetics throughout the property. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the lounge area with complimentary coffee and water, as well as the gender-separated public baths, which were a wonderful way to relax after a day of exploring. (Just note that the baths are closed daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.)
The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and always willing to help. We were traveling with two young children and a baby, and the hotel kindly provided a baby bathtub and crib, which made our stay so much easier.
Our kids absolutely loved the hotel and were genuinely sad to leave at the end of our trip! Between the convenient location, beautiful facilities, family-friendly amenities, and outstanding service, we can't wait to come back on our next visit to Taipei.
