Unfortunately a shadow of it's former self. I loved it the last time I stayed.
Let's start. Check in was an absolute mess. Long queue. Unhappy guests. No room for me. Go away and wait. Other people got rooms while I sat and waited. I eventually got my room. It was still being cleaned when I got there. I wasn't checking in early or anything. Just mismanaged.
WiFi. What year is it? Should this be an issue? It kept dropping out. Sometimes fine, sometimes slow, sometimes absent. The thing is if you needed to rely on WiFi to attend a business teams/zoom call, you cannot rely on the hotel wifi. I ended up paying for 4g network.
Pool = screaming kids play area. That's not really a problem. Just don't think you will spend some quiet relaxation time next to the pool.
It used to be so much better. It was one of the reasons I made the trip from DXB to Al Ain. I don't think I'll bother again.
