The Hive Hotel

We found this hotel to be wonderful for our stay in Rome. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They arranged transportation for us from the airport to the hotel. They also allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel the day we checked out until 9:30pm when we needed to head to the train station. Everyone we encounter spoke excellent English, and they were easy to communicate with. The air conditioning worked great in our room, and we didn’t have any issues with anything in the room. There is a hairdryer provided which was nice since we came from the U.S. and have different plug-ins. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted and visited all of the Rome highlights. We felt safe staying at The Hive Hotel. We would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again ourselves.

I highly recommend the hotel,very nice welcoming staff,delicious breakfast with multiple food options and varieties,clean rooms and bathrooms, we will definitely come back.

The hotel was clean, but I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s farther from Rome’s main attractions than I expected, so with the summer heat we ended up taking Ubers everywhere, which added up. I was also surprised that guests have to pay to use the gym. Housekeeping was inconsistent and often didn’t restock basic amenities without us asking. Overall, it’s an okay hotel, but I’d stay somewhere more central next time. If you want to be within easy walking distance of Rome’s main sights, I’d recommend staying closer to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, or Trastevere instead.

Nice hotel, good room, wifi was not amazing

Very nice hotel, we loved the rooftop bar! The spa was great too, on the small side but we had it all to ourselves. Take your own shampoo/conditioner though as the 2in1 hair products they have weren’t the best.
