Excellent stay in the heart of Bologna!
We had a wonderful stay at 051 Room & Breakfast and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna.
The location is outstanding, right in the heart of the historic centre and within easy walking distance of the Two Towers, Piazza Maggiore, the restaurants and all the main attractions.
A special thank you to the lady who checked us in and to all of her colleagues. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional. Our room was ready promptly at the official check-in time, everything was explained clearly, and they gave us excellent advice about the local area. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped, making it the perfect base for exploring this beautiful city.
Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend 051 Room & Breakfast to anyone visiting Bologna.

Property was in a part of central Bologna a way (30 min walk) from main attractions except the 2 towers. It was entirely self-service and the room locks worked with difficulty. One has to carry around 4 mets keys - front door, main reception, corridor with guest rooms and one’s own room. The breakfast was minimal, but one doesn’t starve. Area is not entirely safe - I was accosted by aggressive beggars twice. Soap bars were tiny and not replaced. Towels were not exchanged unless one asks.it is more like a hostel than a hotel and not cheap. Minimal shopping nearby.
Front desk is manned from 3-6p only by Dario who tries very hard. Honestly, it was not a great experience.

The location is in the centre of Bologna within an easy walk to everything. The staff was amazing. We had a problem with a cancelled flight and they made some important phone calls for us. The common space is warm and elegant and the rooms were great.

Fantástico The staff were so helpful, the property and rooms are clean, and it could not be located better! A little loud at night as it’s near where students hang out but would for sure stay here again!

Fantástico This hotel was lovely and perfectly located for our time in Bologna. Our room (#5) was spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff was great - they answered any question we might have and gave us excellent recommendations. At breakfast there was a wide variety of foods to choose from and all that we tried were very good. We would highly recommend this establishment for your stay in the heart of Bologna.
