As a husband and father, my priority when traveling is keeping my wife and children safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, our stay at the Hotel Five a Pineapple Hotel in Seattle turned a family trip into a very stressful experience and ruined our last day in a beautiful city. We made a simple reservation mistake and ended up one night short. I was unaware of my mistake until the hotel manager called. I assumed it could be fixed if the hotel had availability. Instead, while we were at the Seattle Zoo, the manager called and told us we had to leave right away because the hotel was full to capacity and our type of room was booked. I checked online and found multiple rooms still available, including our room type, so that claim was not true and a blatant lie. To avoid leaving my family without a room, I booked another hotel right away. About twenty minutes later, the manager called back and said we could stay after all because someone had canceled. That only made the situation more frustrating. Why the backtrack after all the stress and aggrevation. Why the lies to begin with. We are a family traveling with kids! What bothered me most was the lack of accountability. There was no sincere apology or effort to make things right. Good hotels treat guests with honesty and respect, and this one did not. I work hard for my money and expect professional treatment. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend the Hotel Five Pineapple Hotel. Seattle has many better options stay elsewhere.

Ok but USB ports didn’t work

Clean hotel at a great location, walking distance between the Space Needle and Pikes Market. Staff were super friendly and always happy to assist. Rooms are clean and actually liked the European double duvet bedding, genius! Love the reusable pineapple water bottle super helpful since we planned a hiking tour over our trip. Rooms seem dark for me, with the darker colors, lighting could be brighter especially for women putting on makeup, bring a well light make up mirror.

This hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful when we needed directions or suggestions for food. The room came with two free drinks. I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent experience very well situated most tourist attractions within reasonable walking distances. Clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is so cute. We were there for one night and felt so welcomed by the staff, rooms were spacious and the location was in walking distance to the pier. Would stay here again.
