Property has great location. Across the train station. Just need to go over 1 bridge. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, squares. 20 to 25 mins walk from San Marco. Rooms could use some modernization. Noise, vibration of windows or shutters , construction waking you up in the morning. Shower seal to the tub leaking and falling out. Satff was courteous and accommodating.

Very cute traditional property. Fantastic location with windows that overlooked the grand canal, easy to get in/out of Venice. The staff was really kind and helpful! Lots of fantastic restaurants nearby and just across the canal from the public ferry.

Had a quiet courtyard just outside our door. Across the canal from the train station. Venice has canals and stairs and stairs and stairs to cross those many canals. Don't want to haul luggage. Many porters with carts are available to help. Wow, wow, wow.

I gave the staff 5 star, the location is also convenient, cross the grand canal from Venice central train station. The breakfast was decent. The facility need upgrades. Our room which is a “canal view is horrible! There was a huge flag pole right in front of the tiny window blocking the view. The bed and the entire furniture needs to be replace ASAP. The Duvet on the bed needs to be replaced. There was electric out let to plug in our charger, the guy at the front desk told us to unplug one of the lamps to plug in our charger. 2 people can not fit in the bathroom at the same time. There was open can of beer in the fridge no water and was still left there after reporting it. Housekeeping need to be improve.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in an older building, but still very well maintained. The complimentary breakfast left a little to be desired. But that was more of a cultural difference than a lack of quality. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We would stay at this hotel again.

Definitely has old world charm. Rooms were clean and nice. Locate right on the grande canal across from train station so location was convenient also.

While the family room is touted as a room for 4 adults, it is cramped and the amenities are minimalistic, The living area has a double bed and 2 single beds with limited closet space and the bathroom needs serious renovation, The breakfast is decent and staff & location are good but it isn't worth the price since the family room isn't canal facing. The La Cupola race restaurant gets packed due to the view but it is quite over-priced if you consider the food taste / authenticity except the desserts.

I understand that Venice is old and that’s their charming but for the price they charge that hotel and called a 4 stars there is a huge difference, the beds are so old and a little uncomfortable and the pillows so flat, the shower so small too.
