Excellent breakfast. Clean room. Safe surroundings. Exceptional restaurant, Sreffanie's Place right across the street.

We arrived fairlly late at night off a delayed flight so were glad to have acc oomodation. however, I didnt get the impression that the room had been freshly cleaned or checked before our arrival. There was a proliferation of dead insects (beetles of some description) on the floor on in the bathroom. There was also a large clump of someone else's hair on the bathroom floor. The towels were stained and not thick and luxurious as one would expect of a property with an "exceptional" rating. It certainly did not live up to its rating. That being said, the ebd was comfortable and breakfast was good.

Nice, clean room, it was good location for us. Friendly staff. Mattress was too soft for us.

What a gem! Andrew and Charmaine are wonderful hosts, so friendly, and helpful with tips about restaurants in the area, and more. The guesthouse is wonderful. The furnishings, fixtures and fittings are modern and functional. The bed was comfy. The room amenities included a safe, small fridge, AC, TV and coffee/tea station. The bathroom was well appointed. The toiletries are top class. Breakfast (cooked to order) was delicious. All in all, a great experience. Easy to recommend. Thanks guys!

Great stay

I only stayed for a night but I felt very welcome. Waterstone's manager arranged for an early check-in and was extremely helpful throughout my stay. The facilities are modern, clean and convenient to Somerset West and Stellenbosch.
