I rarely write a negative review, but if someone would've written this and I saw it, I wouldn't have stayed here. This place is a hot mess. I love Hyatt and Hyatt Place, but this is NOT what you would normally expect for a Hyatt Place. It's either one of the first ever built (and it shows) or its lipstick on a pig from another independent hotel acquired. Yes, it has some construction going on, but it wasn't that. The rooms are horribly dated, the bed has coil springs coming through, the elevators actually seem dangerous and the front desk staff... no bueno. When I brought up my dissatisfaction to them (within 30 seconds of arriving in the room) asking for a refund and I'd go elsewhere, they responded with "you've already used the room". We walked in, put our bags down and I picked up the phone. Nothing was "used". They know how bad it is and must just be told to hold firm. Don't get fooled by the cheaper price like I did. Not worth it and half the price!
