We stay here regularly since we have a student at UCF. We love that the hotel is set back from the road. It was renovated a couple of years ago and the bedding has been comfortable. Plus, they offer a decent complimentary breakfast. This past weekend we stayed. The first night was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress in Room 212 had no cushion to it and it squeaked every time we rolled over. The next morning I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do (mattress topper or additional mattress pad). Although they would have switched our room, I was hoping for a simpler option. Instead, they offered to send the janitorial staff. The staff never entered the room, did not even complete the routine cleaning. That was disappointing. We ended up putting the comforter under the fitted sheet to soften it up. We had 2 stays booked for the future. We cancelled one so we can try the Courtyard by Marriott across the street. Also, as an FYI, they allow cats and dogs. They do NOT perform any special cleaning after an animal stays in the room, per the front desk (in case you’re allergic to cats).
