The breakfast was sensational. Very impressed. The pool area says you can't take your own food and drinks, but there is never anyone there to unlock the fridge to sell you anything. Just take your own! The gym is less than average. Don't bother. It was one of the reasons we booked here because we have an event coming up, but it was extremely limited.

The staff is friendly. Breakfast was okay. The location is good. There is a convenience store at the lobby and beside the hotel. Walking distance to the 1st Avenue Mall and a Chinese eatery/cafe. On the first night, we noticed that the bath towels were not clean properly as there was a smell. However, on the second day, the new bath towels they gave were okay.

The Hotel is located around with foods , place to shopping with walking distance.

Great location walkable to all the main food spots we wanted to try. The room was basic, my bedsheets were dirty and there was a bit of wear and tear.

Parking is safe. Breakfast taste good. Might have give more choices on the breads in the coming future. Also can improve on the coffee, current coffee taste not so nice.

My stay at Hotel Neo+ Penang was an incredibly convenient and professional experience. The location is highly strategic, as it only takes about a 10-minute walk to reach the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site, making it an ideal base for historical exploration. The surrounding amenities are excellent, with convenience stores located both downstairs and within the immediate vicinity. A major highlight for me was the supermarket situated directly across the street, which made shopping for local souvenirs and essentials remarkably easy. Additionally, reaching the famous food stalls at Lebuh Kimberley is quite manageable, requiring only about a 15-minute walk. The hotel room itself was very reasonable, neat, and minimalist, providing a clean and organized environment that met all my professional standards. I also had a chance to visit the rooftop pool, and surprisingly, I had the entire place to myself. It might have been because it was raining at the time, haha, but it offered a very peaceful moment during my trip. Overall, this hotel offers great value and a seamless stay for anyone visiting George Town.

After checking in, we headed to our room. The hallways are dark and have an ironing board and iron placed against one wall that the entire floor is expected to use. The hallways and room smelled like mothballs triggering the wife's allergies. She became short of breath. The office showed us a different room on another floor. Same issue. We forfeited the money and went around the corner to the Granite Hotel. 100 times better.

A large quiet airy room. Great view. Near to great sites although we used Grab a lot due to the heat. Air con very efficient. Pool welcome and clean. Staff at breakfast were excellent and the selection plentiful for our needs. Lifts very swift. Coffee shop Art and Soul was lovely.

Hot water took forever so expect to let water runs for minutes before you can take a shower.
