There is no staff. No one there at checkin. We had trouble with getting into the room. Room lacked electrical outlets and a table for a laptop. Wifi never worked for the three nights we stayed there despite a number of calls. We were in a building across the street and the wifi didn't work there, It did in the main building. The guy on the help line blamed my ineptness for not being able to connect to wifi. My wife couldn't connect and also our neighbors in other rooms. Stay in a hotel with someone on the premises. Also no maid service. We had a big pile of wet towels. I like my room neat.

The WiFi no anduvo nunca! Llamamos para que lo vengan a arreglar y nadie vino. No nos limpiaron el cuarto y no había nadie para atenderte y resolver los problemas. El precio no correspondía para nada con lo que ofrece. No tiene mantenimiento. Los balcones estaban sucios y el hinodoro no funcionaba correctamente. Bajen los precios a un arbn de 2 estrellas o pónganse a la altura. Es una vergüenza! La casa hermosísima pero no para un hotel h ese precio. El bar super lindo!

The bungalow was the perfect place for a family of 4! Private and spacious!

Beautiful place to stay

We stayed in a room across the street at the James House. The property is quaint, charming, and full of historic character. Our room was quite large, with a king bed and a couch, which gave us plenty of space to relax. Unfortunately, there were some maintenance and cleanliness issues. Parts of the floor felt soft, almost as if you could fall through in certain areas, and the room was not as clean as we expected. We were especially excited to use the balcony, but it was covered in bird droppings, making it unusable during our stay. On the positive side, we really enjoyed spending time on the front porch and using the pool across the street. We also had a great experience at George's—the Aperol Spritzes were excellent and so was the service. Overall, the property has a lot of charm and potential, but some attention to cleanliness and upkeep would make for a much better guest experience.

I stayed in the James house across the street from the main mansion. Room was clean and cheerul with a private balcony. Hotel is a self service. Meaning that there is no front desk staff or anyone on property to ask questions or to handle any guest issues. Luckily everything in my room worked such as my ac and hot water. Check in consists of an receiving an email with the front door keypad codes and keypad codes for your individual room. There is limited offstreet parking which was handy. Last night of my stay there was a annoying beeping noise coming from the hallway outside of my room. Went to investigate where it was coming from and discovered it was coming from a locked closet! Luckily I was checking out in a couple hours and was ready to leave. There would be no one to contact on the property to handle an emergency or take care of immediate mantenance issues. Could be a huge issue for people when things go south. Not sure if I would take a chance and stay here again unless they make changes on how to contact a live person on property!

This place was in a great location.

Host was excellent on the phone getting me into the room after Hotel.com dropped the ball in sending the checkin info to me.Hotel is in prime party district, so you know going in there will be late night noise. Biggest grip: flow restrictor in shower head. Low water pressure and took 15 minutes for hot water to arrive. Checked on FKAA website and there was no system issue.

It was very nice and the location was perfect.
