Hardly any of the TVs work in the rooms. I stay there most weeks and the tvs in rooms 107 and 117 haven't worked for ages and nothing gets done. It's nice to have in the evenings and early mornings. No one seems bothered and blames the batteries in the remote but I used new ones and still nothing worked.

Decent location a short walk from the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized, clean room with functional amenities. Sadly the room smelled like an open drain. Loud clunking and gurgling coming from the drains all day and night. TV is very small. Window was very small. Loud traffic noise from the dual carriageway outside during daytime, but quiet enough overnight. All in all tolerable for overnight stay or if spending limited time in the room. Feels more like a hostel than a hotel. If you want an enjoyable hotel stay you're probably better off spending a bit extra on a 3 or 4 star hotel nearby.

My partner an I stayed over for one night after seeing Lilly Allen in Birmingham and it was amazing!. We were really impressed with the staff and the car parking. The room was really clean and considering it was unbearably hot outside the room was cool and nice to sleep in.
