The location of this hotel is perfect. It is at a very central point in the Riverwalk area. We were able to do valet parking at the hotel and walk the majority of our stay. The valet attendants were AMAZING!! And prompt.
The lobby of the hotel is amazing. The plant life, windows and textures made it feel high end.
There is always a movie playing in the lounge by the lobby. Which is good if you have kids or family, and you need extra space to stretch out for a bit.
There is ice cold fresh water waiting by the door. Which is a nice touch that welcomes you when you come in fr the heat.
We chose city view from our room. We had a nice view of the old courthouse.
The black out roman shade kept street light to a minimum.
The only two drawbacks we had are the noise level and room.
The walls are paper thin.
We could here normal conversation from outside on the 5th floor. As well as footsteps from the surrounding rooms. Door closures sounded like door slams. Chairs being moved echoed.
Some guests kept a later schedule than we did, so the noise level at night kept us up.
The room was mediocre.
For the quality and size of the lobby it seemed like a room from any other lower end hotel brand.
It was clean and smelled AMAZING but was pretty standard.
