The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the showers have consistent hot and cold water. The AC worked wonderfully, especially on humid nights. The staff was helpful, and they also answered any questions we had. Something I specifically liked was that the resort is family-oriented and that we did not have to deal with spring breakers getting wild. Personally, when I go to resorts, I am looking to relax by the pool between excursions and use a decently stocked gym to work out. The pool at the resort was fine, but it does require maintenance; there are some missing tiles and rough edges, which I noticed because I swam twice a day every day -- on one particular day, the pool steps were actually being repaired in the middle of the day, so that was inconvenient. Additionally, the gym has two treadmills, both of which require repairs, so a full workout was not really possible.

Very nice staff, lovely meals, and overall wonderful experience! I will definitely be back and recommend this all inclusive stay to other guests!

Clean resort friendly staff I stayed 4 nights food could be a little better but over all it was nice

We didn’t have a buffet option but we had a all you can eat option.

Yazmin from Kid zone was 10/10 amazing always happy with big smile in her face she’s doing wonderful job with the kid. Luis and Hector from La pergola excellent services and always smiling Lluvia from the Bar the best service pretty good Luis from Ilforno very nice service those group of people 10/10 . The rest have to make a little more effort to at least show a smile to the guests

Beautiful location, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Food was okay.

I loved how we were able to use the amenities of the other Sunset Resorts. Stay everywhere was lovely!

The rooms need some updating and proper maintenance. The toilet is not working properly, not flushing, the shower drain is too slow to drain and flooding when you take a shower. The room smells musty. The hotel itself looks nice dated but typical I guess for that Spanish colonial vibe.

Food was excellent and the staff was very friendly.

The bell hop and some staff at restaurants were great. Having access to the beach resort was a plus. We received a relaxing treatment at the spa.The Krudo restaurant next to it was exceptional. The people at the concierge desk were not very nice and the outdoor hot tub and room jacuzzi were cold. The one on our balcony would'nt fill up. The food was okay. Same thing every single day for breakfast. It would have been nice to have access to more coffee. It was our second time there. We had a good time but will not be returning.
