Hotel Sea Cloud (Kolon Seacloud Hotel)

Staff unhelpful with very limited english. Asked for an upgrade upon checking in but was told there was no rooms available yet our friends who checked in 10 minutes after was given an upgrade. Lights weren't working in room. They did get it fixed however on our second day. Was frustrating with communicating. Bathroom smelled like mold, room was somewhat clean. Hard mattress and uncomfortable. This is an honest review

The room was spacious and we were on the ninth floor with a partial ocean view, which was nice, although we didn't spend much time in the room. The beds were okay--not the most comfortable, but adequate. The bathroom was small and there was very little vanity space. There are opaque glass walls and a frosted glass door around the bathroom, which was odd, but not too off-putting. I prefer actual doors. The hotel is a bit dated and could use some sprucing up, although it was clean and spacious and the location is perfect if you are focusing on Haeundae Beach and the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was good--not superb, but offered a variety of foods both local and western. I didn't use the pool because it closes at 7:00 p.m. and on the one day I was going to use it i was told when I arrived that I had to wear a hat or bathing cap to use it. I had neither with me, but there were some available for purchase. I have never been to a hotel pool that required a bathing cap or hat, so I was a bit annoyed at that. The hotel is also on the fourth floor of another building, so to get to the lobby one has to take an elevator to the fourth floor, then board a different set of elevators to get to one's floor. Somewhat inconvenient to have to tak two elevators every time we left or returned to the hotel. All-in-all, a good hotel in a great location. Despite some minor flaws, well worth the price.

お部屋が想像以上に広く　カーテンを開くとパーシャルオーシャンビューのお部屋でしたが良い感じに海が見え　その横に見えるビルの広告のモニター？が大画面で同じ目の高さでとても良かったです。涼しいお部屋にいながら楽しめました。ベッドも寝心地最高でした。

Everything was great!

The view was excellent, room ok needed work done to it, had to pay extra if you wanted to use hot plates and cook food. Only coffee cups supplied. Could not use pool as workers were working. In Australia every thing is include at no extra cost. Was a bit expenisve for what we got since i work in the industy as well. No washing facilities to wash clothes if needed.

체크인시 직원이 너무 친절했음. 방 시설이 노후화 된게 있고, 하부 청소는 조금 아쉬었으나 룸 업그레이드를 받아 조망도 좋고 큰방에 숙박하여 아주 만족함 주차도 편하고 해운대 중심에 위치해서 너무 좋았음

We stayed at Kolon when we were in Busan. It is a bit confusing to find as there are different hotels all in one building, but the staff is helpful so not a big deal. We were upgraded so ended up with a one bedroom and the unit was huge, including a kitchen and a sitting area. The only problem was that the bathroom was tiny for a place that big. We could barely close the door to the bathroom. Regardless, the hotel was clean and well maintained. It is right at Haeundae Beach, so the views were great and the beach was right in front. It's also only a 15 min cab right to Gwangalli Beach which was great because we decided to go and see Gwangan-daegyo (Diamond Bridge) the first evening. It is also pretty central so easy to get to places from there.

Great views from this hotel. Not well maintained. For Expedia the royal suite does not sleep 10 ( 4 max). Paid extra for a “ cot” lol. See picture
