We had the top room. Charming and very large room but slanted ceiling, you had to be careful. Nice view of castle from room. Great location for walking around old town and to the castle. The hotel restaurant was excellent. It was recommended by a local resident. We ate all our meals there and had a wonderful server.

Excellent hotel and restaurant

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect. Our room was clean and big and having the restaurant downstairs with the breakfast that was included was an extra plus. Already planning our trip for next year and this hotel will definitely be on the list to stay at again. Also the young man Dennis, who worked at the front desk and at the restaurant in the morning was such a pleasure to talk to.

Had issues with AC they said they fixed it but didn’t inform us until we were checking out. Would have been helpful if we had been told the day it was fixed so as we could have enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very quaint. The location was perfect.

Staff was extremely kind and helpful!! Allowed me to stow my luggage when I arrived several hours early, and my room was ready a couple of hours early as well. Room was cute and in good condition. A bit of mildew staining in the shower but otherwise very clean.

Manager went out of her way to help us get another room at a neighbouring hotel after there was a mix up with Expedia booking very professional and warm staff and of course outstanding food

Clean room, friendly staff

Location, Location, Location! Rooms were simple and clean. Parking was a close, easy walk. The tram to the castle, church square, restaurants and more are just steps away. Hotel staff especially the gentleman at check-in (I believe his name was Hamish) was incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a charming historic building, in the heart of things. The included breakfast was also tasty! We hope to be back soon and cannot recommend enough.
