We’ve stayed at the Hyatt Place Moab before and noticed a significant decline compared to last year. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and upkeep weren’t at the same level.
The pool area was disappointing the pool deck floors were dirty throughout our entire stay and didn’t appear to be cleaned. On both Friday and Saturday, the trash cans around the property remained full for most of the day, which made the common areas look neglected.
Breakfast was another letdown. Compared to last year, the selection and overall quality seemed much poorer.
On the positive side, we really liked our room. The beds were comfortable, and housekeeping promptly provided extra towels whenever we requested them. However, the glasses in the room had not been cleaned properly, and one of them was broken, which should have been caught during room inspection.
We’ve made Hyatt Place Moab our hotel of choice every year when we visit Moab, which is why this stay was especially disappointing. We truly hope management takes these comments to heart and restores the high standards we experienced in the past. We enjoy staying here and would love to continue returning for many years to come.
