The hotel is right in the city centre. It gets quite noisy there in the evening with music (from street performers) and, unfortunately, there was construction work going on at night. We found the room quite small and a bit chilly. The furnishings are also a bit dated. The staff are very friendly. The links to shopping and public transport are excellent.

Room was small for a family of three (we booked a one queen and one twin bed), but the room was AC’ed, clean and quiet.
We were surprised to find this hotel above a bar - we got confused for a bit.
The secured entrance to the hotel is located under their ACCOMMODATIONS sign, but check in is inside the bar.
Hotel was a few feet away from a train station and located central to the CBD.
Staff also held onto our luggage for security after check out so that we could explore the CBD before catching our flight.
Would book this hotel again, great experience.

Great location, light rail/train around the corner which takes you to Circular Quay. Great connection to and from airport. QVB building and Westfield shopping within walking distance. Great cafes near by. Beds are comfortable.

I like the location the most but I’m not sure if I would have booked if I knew it’s a hotel/accommodation directly upstairs from a bar. When I checked in it was shocking as I had to talk to the bar manager. (My family arrived at 7pm) Also there’s city council construction on Thursday night, over an hour from 10 pm, which was shocking although it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Staff was friendly but couldn’t reach out at night for the Council drilling noise. It will be good for young people or a family who has grown up children. Overall good to access anywhere in SYD, especially shopping.

A lot to like about this place. The rooms are clean. The restaurant is great. The bar is a nice place to hang and the location cannot be beaten. Only downside is you get what you pay for with bedding (our bed sunk in the middle) and noise at night - I had a hard time trying to block out the noise at around 11.30pm but that's not the hotel's fault. It is still good value for money if you aren't fussy about the bed or noise. Staff always nice too when checking in.

EstupendoMe alojé con mi familia
Cleaned rooms, near to Town Hall station, QVB, easy to arrive to all the main touristic points. The staff is very good as well. But the first entrance is by the pub what wasn't good. Also the restaurant in the second floor is open for everyone with easy access to the rooms.
