Hotel has two parts - unless you are staying in the old part (we thought we were, but something went wrong with booking and reception staff were not particularly helpful), then I wouldn’t recommend.
The new part is clean, tidy - but characterless - nothing special and not worth the money - may as well save money and stay at the Holiday Inn over the road. Our view in a Premium room was of the car park.
Staff seemed to portray it would be difficult to use any of the spa amenities and would have to pre book, so didn’t bother.
In short, with a lot of hotel options in the area, I would likely not stay here again unless guaranteed in the old building with river view.
