Great location for access to metro and going on activities. Hotel a little tired, room average, bathroom poor and cramped, no shampoo (unable to shower properly due to sloping tiled wall). No daily top up of water bottles, The breakfast was very average, limited fruit, over cooked pastries, limited variety and ran out of orange juice for 3 days (although the Coffee was good). Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We had a lovely 3 night stay over the Grand Prix weekend and stayed in the Suite on the 4th Floor. The suite was huge, with a large covered terrace and huge hot tub overlooking Heroes Square. Breakfast was good, and location of the Hotel great for us and very near to a Metro station. Recommended and if you can, stay in the Suite - it was like being in a mini flat with bar area, dining table and sofa, separate large shower and full sized bath!

Great location opposite Heros' Square and M1 Metro and local buses. A little noisy from the road traffic. Good clean spacious rooms. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Good priced accommodation. The lift to reception is not sign posted though and is round the back of the hotel otherwise some steep steps for luggage or elderly.

The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. The location is excellent, right next to Heroes’ Square and City Park. Overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay in Budapest.

Great hotel in a fantastic location close to metro and other transport with friendly and helpful staff. Shout out to David on reception and the ladies that prepared and provided a decent breakfast. The cleaning team are lovely too. All in all a great place to stay. Thanks guys!

I enjoyed my stay very good location nice breakfast nice staff the room a little small and wish they had a pool on site but other than that wonderful

Lovely hotel with great friendly staff

As a regular guest at Mirage Medic Hotel, I’m disappointed to share this experience. I’ve stayed many times and always found the hotel satisfactory, but during my latest booking I needed to move one of my two reserved nights to a later date in December. I checked beforehand and confirmed the hotel had plenty of free rooms that night, so changing the date would not have caused any loss. In fact, my December stay would have added four more nights, and I also planned several future visits in 2026. Despite explaining this at reception before checking in and stressing that I am a loyal guest, the staff refused to move the night. Even after contacting management, they insisted I send an email, which made little sense given the urgency and the fact that I came in person specifically to resolve it. The refusal, despite no loss to the hotel and my long term loyalty, felt like a complete disregard for the mutual flexibility regular customers should reasonably expect. As a result, I will no longer stay at Mirage Medic Hotel. My seven to eight upcoming Budapest trips the coming year will be booked elsewhere.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. We were really pleased to have chosen this hotel.

Mirage Hotel is a blast!!!!I did a solo trip and it was super safe for me as a black woman.The staff Suzanna and David were very kind and efficient . I was very comfortable. Even the buffet had different options on a daily basis and the food was delicious. On my early departure at 3:45 am i had a lovely to go breakfast package handed to me from the receptionist(sorry did not get her name,but she made sure to discuss my options the night before)with 2 breakfast sandwiches bottle of water an apple,chocolate bar and bottle of water. The restaurant just outside 'Mendles' has very delicious food as well. This hotel is right at Heroes Square and is by stop number 9 from the hop on hop off bus and literally a 5 minute walk to the famous szechenyi thermal bath. Metro 1 rigjt outside hotel takes you to the city where the Danube river and cruise are.Loooove the kindness of the Hungarian people.
