Amazing place! Friendly caring staff! Beautiful resort! Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was great, and the breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection every morning. It had everything you could ask for on a family holiday, with beautiful pools, plenty of activities, and a relaxed atmosphere. We couldn't fault it and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend for families visiting Fiji!

Lovely amenities. Fiji Airways has a booth there to take your luggage which makes the airport so much easier experience. Breakfasts are great. The pool does get crowded. Lots of younger children and families . Centrally located .

The room was clearly renovated and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. The pool is beautiful. Kids were the primary users of the pool. Both umbrellas and comfortable chairs were provided poolside. Of course, they always need more chairs because of the pool chair hogs. It has a small sliver of beach and you can walk further in front of another property. The grounds/landscape were constantly being worked on so it was a pleasure to walk around. It is located on Denaru, where many hotels and golf courses were located. I found I actually preffered to stay at the resort then go off property. The majority of staff were polite and helpful. The only issue I encountered was with booking transfers. I inquired at the desk about a transfer. A call was made on the phone and I was told either 198 FJD by card or 138 by cash. I declined as this felt odd since a previous ride cost me 65 FJD. I went the porter later and inquired about a taxi. He, at least, pulled out a list of fixed prices to locations which was 110 FJD, cash only. After making several phone calls, making my own arrangements was best since these situations made me feel like I was being taken advantage of at the time.

We stayed at the hotel for a business event. While the property itself is well maintained and the facilities are generally of a good standard, our experience with the event management team was extremely disappointing. The staff responsible for coordinating the event demonstrated a lack of professionalism and customer service. Their approach came across as dismissive, arrogant, and overly entitled. Most concerning was that the person in charge insisted on receiving full payment strictly according to their own terms, yet failed to provide even a basic briefing or appropriate communication to clients during the event. The overall management of the event fell far below the standards one would expect from a hotel of this reputation. The lack of courtesy, accountability, and professional business conduct reflected poorly on the organization. Unfortunately, this experience significantly detracted from an otherwise acceptable stay and did not align with the reputation associated with the Sofitel brand.

Great Resort.

Bula. We had a family holiday at the Sofitel with 6 adults and 3 grandkids. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience and in particular the staff are so friendly, welcoming and happy. The kids were really engaged with the many activities, pools and food options available. I recommend the Sofitel and would consider coming back. Vinaka

Nothing really to complain about. TV was faulty and shower leaked but everything else was very nice.
