The room was not very clean, dirty towels, ants and spiders everywhere.
One of the reasons is the fact that the room and bathroom are not well isolated. The hotel is nicely located in the middle of a rice field, therefore if the isolation is not good you risk to have geckos and plenty of insects in the room. And this is what happened to us.
The worst thing was when 2 gecko poops fell down from the ceiling on our bed, really disgusting. After that they put a protection above our bed and this is how we survived the whole 3 night stay.
I think that the manager and owner still have a lot to learn about how to probide a good service. However, I should also mention few positive things: they are nice and polite (like everyone in Indonesia), they provide a free shuttle bus to the center (and this is great as you can stay in a more quiet location -Ubud is completely crazy - and at the same time going easily to the center).
