The hotel was in a bit of a rubbish location, the rooms were very basic. Staff was helpful. The pool was not what was advertised pool water was quite shadowy not clear at all.

Went on a solo trip and the hotel was solid! I actually really loved the location. It was about an 8 min walk from the metro and it was far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown to have a relaxing and scenic vibe, but close enough to where the metro really only took 15 mins to get anywhere you wanted to go.
The rooftop pool was awesome and the views were like incredible. The bar at the pool opened a little late for my taste (noon) but it was still good. The breakfast was not included on my reservation, but I did purchase it separately one day and it was worth it id say!!
The cons:
- the secondary bar/restaurant on the lobby floor seemed to never be staffed
-the weights in the gym were not very heavy. Only went up to like 10kg dumbbells
-THE WALLS ARE THIN!! I was constantly woken up by children running down the halls very early in the morning/doors slamming late at night. Any movement in the hallways could be heard loud and clear. This was my main complaint.
Overall i give it like an 8/10 stay! :)

The staff was very nice and friendly. They went out of their way to help us. The buffet breakfast was really good. It was worth the €17. If you are a vegetarian or a vegan you are in for a treat because they had vegan cheese and vegan sausages. If you are watching your sugar, you are also in for a treat because they had had jelly sweetened with agave instead of sugar. The bread was fresh and tasty.

Fantástico I came to Barcelona with two friends for Primavera Sound and had a fantastic stay at Hotel Catalonia Park Guell. Affordably priced for an immaculate property not too far from the train in a quiet and authentic neighborhood. The staff was immensely helpful and kind whenever we needed anything. Awesome breakfast and espresso bar in the lobby. The rooftop pool was the awesome way to relax when we needed a break. Would happily stay again-- we all miss it already!

The staff were very friendly and ready to help. I had to ask for some ice for a sprained ankle and they gave me enough for us two (and our drinks!). Upon check-in close to midnight, we were offered the upgrade and explained the situation and package well. We had an newly renovated room with an outdoor terrace, a minifridge, and electric kettle (good complementary coffee, tea, and a variety of sugar packets) close to the common outdoor pool! It was a bit too cold for us to take a full dip in the water but the lounge chairs were nice both near the pool & on our terrace. The housekeeping was also very good, fresh towels for our stay and they replenished the cotton pads without prompting. The bathroom was very very nice as well (waterfall shower!). Overall, we had an excellent stay in Barcelona also thanks to Catalonia Park Guell.
