We booked four rooms at this hotel for a family vacation because the website advertises relaxing by the fire pits with a cocktail. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
When we brought drinks to the fire pit area, staff told us we weren’t allowed to have them there or even inside the gated pool area. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to relax with a drink while our kids enjoyed the pool and water slides.
The front desk staff’s attitude made things even worse. When I pointed out what the website advertises, I was told to just sit at the bar instead, which would have meant leaving my children unattended at the pool where there is no lifeguard on duty. That is not a reasonable solution.
If this is the hotel’s policy, the website should be updated to accurately reflect it. Advertising one experience and enforcing another is misleading.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to families expecting the amenities advertised. There are many other hotels in the Anaheim area that better match what they promise.
