It was a nice room but sadly it had cockroaches and smelled like bug cleaning spray. Otherwise, it was fine.

If you're coming from anywhere as a traveller that is train bus or air... It's too far away 16km which adds another 400 baht to trip. Internet is really bad if you need it. Staff were helpful. Almost no eating facility within a mile. Tbh Sura Thani is strange. Police were helpful finding me reasonable ride to the hotel. But very few actual eating places around unless you like your pork beef chicken etc.

+ ac workes well.
- The room was pretty dirty, hairs everywhere etc.
- Ant colony might live in the room or atleast get in very easily...I killed around 30 in the first hour. And they were also under the mattress.
They also bite and cause small red spots all over.
- bed sheet were dirty as well, big yellow stains.
- The sink in the bathroom did not work and all of the water flowed on the floor, making it smell and moldy.
- power outlets near the bed were so lose that my charger almost fell out of it and it did not work.

Staff was friendly, laundry service was cheap, and they helped us set up a reasonably priced transfer to Koh Samui the following day that included pick up from the hotel. The location was very far out of town though and because of that, we probably would not stay there again. Overall a good stay!

A pleasant surprise for such a low price. However, in room 2C, the air-con bank outside really vibrates through the wall and is very noisy. There's not much in the local area in terms of a shop to buy water, etc.
The place is clean and the WiFi impressively strong and fast.

Estupendo First hot water shower I've had in months! So awesome! As everyone else has said, the location is not central and it takes a long walk or taxi to get anywhere. There are a few eateries close by but that's about it. The receptionist didn't speak any language besides Thai so prepare yourself for that. The bed was pretty firm which didn't bother me much. Overall this room was very clean- clean for western standards not the typical south west Asia "clean" standard.

Fantástico The place is a little outside of town, but if the location works for you, it's a very new building, clean and very spacious. Transportation and tickets to the islands are available for them too.
