Sa Plana Nova is a typical, old and Mallorcan Finca dating from 1880. It is situated in the countryside, far from the highway and the urban area. The peaceful atmosphere is what makes it a special and unique place. For over a century the Finca has been a farm. Agriculture and stockbreeding have been the main activities just like many Fincas in Mallorca. Although Sa Plana Nova is currently a Hotel, the rest of the Finca is very well conserved and the remaining land is covered in areas used for cereal and livestock farming. You can explore this beautiful place by foot admiring different species in their natural habitats: rabbits, hares, partridges, woodcocks, hoopoes. . . The Finca offers a large extension of natural environment. There are many kinds of vegetable species: holm oaks, carob trees, wild olives and almond trees.
