The aircon in the room keep stopping by itself. In addition, the remote was kept at 16 deg celcius but it is not cool at all. While sleeping during the night, keep having to wake up to switch on the aircon again because it stopped by itself. During the day, can feel the heat within the room. Has highlighted to the satff which tried to rectify the problem. But the problem persist. Also the main door handle is abit loose already. You have to pull the handle towards you (more than usual) and press down handle before the door can be opened. Shower cubible is portable type sitting on floor slab and is shaky when user move around inside the tight space of the shower cubicle.

Vuong Tai Hotel is in poor condition and clearly lacks basic maintenance. The entire property feels very dated, with decor that looks like it has not been updated since the early 1980s, and there is little evidence it has been properly maintained since then. The room I originally booked was not available on arrival, which forced an unnecessary room change halfway through the stay. The first room should not have been in use at all. The bed had broken springs, making it uncomfortable, and the toilet seat was not properly attached. WiFi was very intermittent and more often not working than usable, which made even basic connectivity unreliable. Noise levels were also an issue. Housekeeping staff were loud in the corridor early in the morning, talking directly outside the room, which made it difficult to rest. The staff were as helpful as they could be, but they are working with a very poor product and it shows. Overall, the experience was poor across multiple basic standards. This is not a hotel I would recommend.
