We stayed here as a family of five (2 adults and 3 children) from the UK for just six hours before continuing our journey, but we were genuinely impressed.
The room was spotless, the beds were exceptionally comfortable (honestly up there with some of the best luxury hotels we’ve stayed in), and the whole hotel felt modern, quiet and well maintained.
The location is ideal—around 10 minutes from Dubai International Airport and only a short walk to the Metro, making it a great base if you’re arriving early or have a layover.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, attentive staff and great made-to-order coffee.
Our only regret was not having longer to enjoy the hotel.
Tip for travellers: If your flight arrives very early and your main hotel is some distance away (ours was a 1½-hour drive to Abu Dhabi), consider booking a night here instead of paying for an extra night at your resort just so you can check in at 5am. We had a proper night’s sleep, enjoyed breakfast, and then travelled to Abu Dhabi refreshed and ready to start our holiday. It also saved us around £640 (yes we only paid £60 for 5 of us!!) compared with paying for an extra night at our £700-a-night resort where your already missed your evening meal and what your paying for!
For anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and excellent-value stay near Dubai Airport, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Al Jadaf.
