After a slightly bumpy check in where the receptionist could not locate our booking (Pro tip: if booking through hotels.com, the email sent to the hotel indicates that the booking was made through Expedia, so have the receptionist search for that instead), the rest of the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, the twin beds were both super singles, and the room was spotlessly clean (kudos to the hardworking housekeeping staff).
The hotel (weirdly named a hostel, which it is not) was located about a 10 min walk from the main tourist drag in Phuket Town, and just a few steps from the Bus Terminal 1 from where the airport bus departed - a huge plus in my books.
All in all, excellent value for the price paid.
