Great location. Clean room. Staff helpful. Only improvement would be to have some hooks for wet clothes/coats near the door

Simple with basic but adequate facilities but secure and reasonably quiet. Narrow but comfortable beds. Check in staff efficient and polite. Good tea & coffee facilities. Excellent and helpful cleaning staff. Good location for night attractions, dining and drinks. Excellent bus and tram links. Main problem was only one lift working...and that was temperamental. It does not help to see a sign " be healthy take the stairs" when you are oaps and need to carry suitcases up several flights.

The Ibis seem to spend their money on the reception and their hallways. The rooms are miserable, prison like, the noise from the road horrendous as the windows are like paper, there is carpet in the room that looks like fuzzy felt and certainly just attached to concrete, the mattress is a toppper to which they add the sheets so you can see the disgusting bed base. The TV is from the early 2000's and the unit its attached to has holes in it. When i asked to change rooms to one at the rear, the staff didn't even bother looking. Then they want to charge £20 for breakfast......

Booked as a place to stay after a gig. For £50 I was expecting too much - just a basic room. The room was clean, bed was very comfy, there was a small tv, a kettle, and a good sized bathroom. The room was a nice size too. Perfect for me (by myself) but would have been plenty of space for 2 people too. Water pressure was good and the shower was nice and roomy. Gentleman on reception was really friendly and helped me sign up to the rewards program which got me a free pint! Location was fantastic. Really close to the city centre and next to a Tesco. Not too far to walk in the evening. Also about a 12 min walk from the station. I am already planning a return trip to explore the city and will 100% be rebooking to stay here.
