Having stayed at this hotel a number of times years ago, I was looking forward to visiting again. How sad to find that although the hotel was as lovely as ever (even though there was renovation going on) the staff was very different. Both the clerk on duty when we checked in and the one in charge later in the evening were condescending and boarded on being actually rude. Certainly not a welcoming place any more. When I ask the first clerk, if there was shuttle service to the airport, she replied curtly “Yes.” She didn’t mention sign up. Luckily, I ask the second clerk later in the evening, if it was necessary to sign up. She replied curtly, “Yes.” I’m glad I thought to ask. Never had that experience at check-in before. I am definitely not a critical person, but this was not a pleasant experience.

I stayed one night. The location is fantastic for traveling by car because it's directly across from the on ramp and off ramp for I90. The credit card machine was down so check in took a lot longer than necessary. Then I was put on the 3rd floor, which appeared to be under construction. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but the common areas of that floor were kind of dirty and unkempt. My room was huge. The bed was amazingly comfortable. But the room clearly had not been deep cleaned in a long time. The lamp shades were dusty, there was gunk in the air conditioning blower, and my feet were dirty after walking on the hardwood floor. For breakfast, the oven was down so the selection of food was pretty terrible. Overall, it seemed like the hotel has a lot of issues that they say they're working on fixing/improving but there was no sign any of them were actually being worked on. The comfy bed and location were the highlights.

Gave my room away when I had a reservation. How cool is that when you show up late night and no room. All area hotels sold out. What a great customer experience.

My room was perfect but access to the third floor complicated. The breakfast was limited to difficulties in the kitchen. The location, for me, was perfect…most places in WNY are close

The hotel was gorgeous. The room was updated with new counters but the carpet needed it. The staff was wonderful. The oven went out so we had a cold breakfast.. cant really complain but was disappointed. Other than that, it was convenient, beautiful and a smidge above average.

The front desk manager was really nice and had nothing to do with the situation. This place is in terrible condition. Rooms weren’t ready or cleaned. People said they didn’t even have linen. Others said they had fluids and other disgusting things in their room. Wouldn’t recommend staying here until they get their act right.

There was absolutely nothing that I liked about our stay! We changed rooms 4 times, had no hot water, no hot breakfast, damage room, and it was a weekend for my wife’s birthday! What a terrible embarrassment!

I had a room reserved but when I got there they said they were not paid and didn’t give the room. Now they are saying I am a no show. From a distance it’s impressive but as you get closer the decay is evident. There are large stains on the chairs, couch and carpet. To top it off, when someone was taking a shower, it sounded like the water was coming through the walls.

Room wasn’t the cleanest, but manageable.
