Stayed at the Holiday Inn, Lime Street while visiting Liverpool to see Moulin Rouge. The hotel is in an excellent location directly opposite the train station and the theatre and only a short walk from the shopping centre and the Albert Dock.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. Owen checked us in and was very pleasant and welcoming.
The staff at breakfast were again friendly, helpful and professional with lovely conversation and suggestions for things to do in the city.
Unfortunately I didn't get the name for the two staff who were on duty when we checked out this morning but they were also very friendly and helpful and arranged to hold our bags while we spent some time shopping before our train.
The room was pleasant and comfortable with everything we needed.
The USB plugs next to the bed were useful.
The bathroom could benefit from a towel rail near the sink but that's the only very slight criticism.
We wouldn't hesitate to book again next time we are in Liverpool.
