There were lots of things I loved about this hotel. I loved the location, the style, the bedrooms, and the bars & restaurants. Plus, the staff were great, all apart from one waiter in the terrace bar who seemed to enjoy ignoring us, which spoiled the night out.

Firstly be prepared to be greeted by a foyer full of people on laptops and Ipads so there is barely a seat to be had. We specifically booked this hotel because of its rooftop bar. We went up during the afternoon and the staff seemed to forget we were there as it took about 15 mins for someone to come out and take a drinks order. A service charge is applied to your card despite the complete lack of service. Despite this we wanted to come back to the bar after the theatre as it does have great views. The website assured us the bar is open until 11pm, even for food orders. We arrived at 10.20pm to be told it was closed, despite there being a number of people in it. When we complained at reception we were met with a sympathetic but not very helpful receptionist who "noted" our complaint. Despite this on checkout we were not even asked if everything was ok with our stay. It feels like this place is a bit pleased with itself and thinks it can exist on its status alone. The room was nice and well appointed but would not stay here again as the service was well below par

Amazing hotel. One of the best I've stayed in throughout the world. The staff we're attentive and so nice. My only very tiny criticism was the softness of the mattress but that's personal choice.

The staff was great. Rooms very nice. The restaurant staff needs work, slow and pushy. Need more verity and buffet type options not just set menu.
