Estupendo Property is good and view is nice. Staff only okay. The front desk staff all acted like we’re putting them out and only gave info in response to my questions (is there a resort map? Is there a gym? WiFi code?, etc)
Logan at the pool was the exception- helpful, kind and always working!
Walls are pretty thin.
If you’re looking for a getaway right in SD it’s good but expect some rowdy pool day drinking.

Fantástico I stayed in a cottage. It was perfect. Plenty of room and outdoor space. We had one issue with the shower not draining and when we notified the desk a maintenance guy was there within minutes to fix it. The property is located right next to a restaurant which had great food. I would absolutely stay here again if I came back to San Marcos.

Fantástico Honestly, the best place to stay if you're in this area. The whole place is so packed with amenities and things to do, you don't even need to leave the compound. There is everything from water sports to regular country-club-like sports and feel. We had planned to maybe venture out prior to arriving, but when we got there, we realized we had everything we needed right there at our fingertips. Next time, I think we'd like to book a cottage with some friends.

I love this property. So many fun things to do and everything is so clean and well maintained. Staff is generally happy and friendly, but I feel like they have been a little stressed lately to be honest. Not sure if that reflects a change in management or? I did see one male manager be openly rude to a female employee who was working in the coffee shop and the girl at the pool bar seemed a little stressed too. Also heard someone say to the maintenance man “you aren’t quitting too are you?” This is all in a less than 24 hour period so I feel that it is reflective of a need to address employee satisfaction. You’d be surprised how much well treated employees impact a guest’s impression.

Bien Very family friendly. Quiet. Property was clean and well maintained. My only real complaint was the invasion of ants. We had a Lake view room, downstairs. The ants came in from the patio side, traveled behind our beds (and thru our beds) to get to the sink/fridge area on other side of room. We had to keep any snacks in the fridge.
As far as customer service, half of the girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, the other half spoke as if they were irritated to be doing their job of customer service.

Bien Amenities and staff are wonderful! The property needs a little TLC starting with the exterior. I would say the landscaping could use a once over as well as somebody just coming through to get rid of dust and cobwebs on the exterior areas. The interior hallways as well as the rooms ( I had two rooms) definitely need to be shampooed. Which hopefully take the somewhat stuffy smell in the hallways away, The overall rooms needs basic upgrades like a place for a USB or C port to plug-in a cell phones. My lamp did t work on my side of the room, there was no clock in the room, the towels were stuff not fluffy. I loved sitting on my balcony but there was a hole in my room area on the balcony and webs that could’ve easily been cleared out through daily maintenance cleaning on the balcony as well as some in the hallway near the door in the building that my other room was in.
