Upon first entering the room, which was clean, there was a smell that reminded of carpet being flooded. The room had a heavy humidity which hung in the air with a sour smell. It lasted a few days. The building was very loud. Im not sure if it was because of where the room was situated, but I could hear the sound of water rushing through piping all through the night. Needless to say I didn't sleep well the first few nights. I could hear the family above my room. The child was running, jumping, yelling (playfully) all day the first 2 days. Easily hearing every footstep. I stayed at a king sized single bed room on the other side of the hotel which didn't have any of these issues. I opted for a suite this time around. The extra little space was appreciated, but with all the noise, moisture and humidity didn't feel like a step up.
