Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Williamsburg

Staff was very accommodating and customer service oriented. Breakfast was good.

Was ok. Not as nice as some other Fairfield’s but would stay there again

There were ants in the room and the bed, some of which ended up in our luggage and in the car with us. The breakfast was inedible and when telling the staff they said they would tell management, with indifference.

Great stay at Fairfield Inn. Parking was easy, room very clean, staff very helpful, breakfast had a nice variety of choices. ****

Hotel is very outdated. Hotel room looked dirty. Floors didn’t look swept. The bathroom looked dirty. Even the bag that held the hair dryer looked dirty. Toilet had yucky stuff just behind the toilet seat. The hallways going to the room also looked dirty and not swept. It smelled old like a locker room.

The hotel is a bit run down compared to others on the strip. I don’t know why when you opt for two beds in the bedroom they only have double beds as the room is big enough for two queens. No one came to make up our room even though it’s supposed to be every other day and we called on Day 3. Said someone was coming, no one came, had to call Day 4 again. Then on Day 5 someone came in and made one of the 3 beds. Also left a big wall mount bottle of body wash (which we didn’t need, since one of the bathrooms had just 2 body washes and conditioner, no shampoo) just sitting out on the sink. Also the breakfast is awful, not any better than all these places that include scrambled eggs and make your own waffles. The turkey sausage was inedible. We went out for breakfast after day 1. Our room keycards also locked us out day 4 of 5, had to get them rekeyed. Staff was helpful. Would not stay here again.

Clean Room

The breakfast menu was fresh and good. The A/C kept my room cool. The staff was very nice. Very pleased with my stay.

TV was on full blast- couldn’t turn it down. And condition of hotel was dated. Breakfast was solid!

The biggest problem that ruined the stay was the mattress. The mattress was sunken in and prevented us from getting adequate sleep throughout our stay. The pillows were also very sparse/flat and difficult to use effectively. I don't believe the fan was working in the bathroom because after a shower there was condensation everywhere. I don't think it would take much to make this hotel a great one, the staff is lovely and the grounds are very clean, the breakfast was great, etc. Unfortunately the quality of the rooms (bed and bedding, bathroom) will prevent us from staying at this location again. I can't put myself & family through the pain of those mattresses again, I will never forget the sleep deprived week I had as a result.
