I have stayed at this hostel three times in the past two months, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Unfortunately, the service I received during this stay was unacceptable.
I would not recommend this hostel for a woman traveling alone with a 2-year-old child, especially if you arrive at night.
The airport shuttle experience was extremely stressful. Despite calling the hotel multiple times for pickup, no one answered the phone. We ended up waiting almost an hour for the shuttle, even though the hotel is only about 10 minutes from the airport.
When we finally arrived, the front desk employee, Juan, was rude and unprofessional during check-in. After such a long and stressful wait with a young child, I checked in around 1:00 a.m., and the lack of customer service made the experience even worse.
I expected much better treatment as a returning guest. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider staying here again.
