I booked a room with two Queen beds, but upon check-in, the front desk informed me they were fully booked. They offered a single-bed smoking room as the only "comparable" option. When I expressed dissatisfaction, they actually suggested I pay extra for an upgrade! It is completely unreasonable to charge a guest extra when the hotel failed to provide the room type that was originally booked and confirmed.
The room and overall experience were a complete disaster:
Unbearable Odor: The room smelled heavily of stale smoke.
Broken Amenities: The TV did not work at all.
Terrible Service & Broken Promises: I tried calling the front desk from the room, but the phone line was dead. I had to go downstairs and line up to report the TV. The staff promised someone would come "now," but after waiting for over 30 minutes, nobody showed up, forcing me to leave for my scheduled itinerary.
Poor Room Quality: The air conditioner was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep, and there were visible stains on the bedsheets.
This was an absolutely awful stay. I highly do not recommend this hotel.
