I booked this hotel at a discounted rate, and I'm glad I did. I wouldn't pay the regular price.
The biggest advantage is the location. It's very close to LAX, making it extremely convenient for returning a rental car and getting to the airport. However, if most of your activities are elsewhere in Los Angeles, be prepared for a long commute.
The parking garage entrance is very tight, but parking was cheaper than at many nearby hotels. The spaces are somewhat narrow, but there were plenty of spots available and I never had trouble finding one.
The room was spacious but looked more dated than the photos suggested. The pillows were uncomfortable, and there was no dedicated hand soap. Only a bar labeled for facial use. After using it to wash my hands, my skin became very dry.
The biggest issue was housekeeping. One of the bath towels had a significant amount of hair stuck to it, and I had to visit the front desk to get a replacement before showering. The key cards were also unreliable. Both of mine stopped working during my stay and had to be reactivated. The front desk staff told me this was a known issue. AC was pretty loud. Since the hotel is on a busy road, all the car noises might keep you up.
